are fully licensed with the proper state and federal agencies to offer
firearms import and export services. Our proximity to the Canadian
border allows us to work seamlessly with customers in the lower British
Columbia region, as well as to ship anywhere in Canada. For only $50,
we can do border deliveries to the Aldergrove Border crossing, which is
an incredible deal compared to the nearly $1000 you´ll pay other
exporters to use a freight forwarder, customs broker, international
freight, etc.

Customer is responsible for all taxes & duties levied by Canada Revenue Agency.
Includes any applicable provincial and/or federal sales taxes (ie GST, PST or HST).
Duty may be charged on items manufactured outside of North America, most often at a 3.5% rate.

as an Exporter of USML Category I Defense Articles and the U.S.
Department of Commerce as an Exporter of Shotguns and related articles.
All exports are subject to the prior approval of the appropriate
federal agencies. Application fees above are due prior to application,
and regardless of the response of the pertaining agency. Employees of
VanderHoek Sports, Inc. will give their best opinion on the feasibility
of an export, but in no case is this a substitute for law or the actual
decision of the U.S. Government. Special orders placed through Dave’s
Sports Shop require a minimum 50% down payment, the balance to be paid
prior to export. The U.S. Dept. of State requires up to 4-6 weeks for
export licensing decisions. *The 3% upcharge is due to recent major
increases in the registration fee charged by the U.S. Department of

All fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD). Canadian-side customer
(importer) is responsible for (1) obtaining an International Import
Certificate (IIC) from Foreign Affairs & International Trade Canada
(application link) (instructions link),
(2) issuing a Purchase Order stating their desired purchase, whether
directly from Dave’s Sports Shop, or a transfer of a firearm purchased
through another U.S. FFL Dealer, and (3) for complying with all
Canadian importing, possession and acquisition laws, including
registering of the firearm in the Canadian Firearms Centre database and
possession of a current Possession and Acquisition License (PAL).
